The Natural Gas Sampling Pre-Heater consists of a solid metal cylinder with an embedded coil through which the gas to be heated is passed. Holes are drilled in the centre of the cylinder into which a heater cartridge and temperature sensor are fitted. Electrical connections are made in a chamber on top of the cylinder which is then fully encapsulated and sealed with a metal lid.The electrical supply to the heater is rated at 110-265V ac and up to 5A.
