Schedule

EQUIPMENT:
Equipment and systems covered by this certificate are as follows:

The Type piD-TECH Sensor Plus is a component photo ionization detector which is installed in an intrinsically safe gas detection instrument. The PID sensor is assigned intrinsically safe parameters which are provided on control drawing 7400-0108-011. The PID sensor receives intrinsically safe power from the unspecified gas detection instrument. All components are inside the plastic housing and are encapsulated except for the lamp, the LED and the detector cell. Three connecting pin are provided at the base of the sensor for installation. The two asterisks at the end of the part number are digits between 00 and 99 which represent the factory preset sensitivity range.

Schedule of Limitations: 1) The PID shall be installed inside of a suitable enclosure in accordance with the end product standard(s). 2) The PID was evaluated for a temperature classification of T4 when used in ambient temperatures up to +60 C. 3) The PID is to be powered from a intrinsically safe circuit. 4) The PID shall be used within the intrinsically safe ratings provided below. 5) Refer to control drawing 7400-0108-011 for details.
