Cable glands Series HSK-K-MZ-Ex, HSK-M-Ex, HSK-M-PVDF-Ex, HSK-M-EMV-Ex, HSK-M-EMV-PVDF-Ex, HSK-M-EMV-D-Ex, HSK-MZ-Ex, HSK-MZ-PVDF-Ex, HSK-MZ-EMV-Ex, HSK-MZ-EMV-PVDF-Ex, HSK-INOX-Ex, HSK-INOX-PVDF-Ex, HSK-INOX-EMV-Ex and HSK-INOX-EMV-PVDF-Ex,  made of nickel plated brass or stainless steel, in type of protection increased safety "e" or for use in the presence of combustible dust. Available thread sizes are M12 to M63, PG7 to PG48 and NPT 3/8" to 1 1/2".

Operating temperature range: -60 °C to 105 °C (NBR o-ring) and -20 °C to 130 °C (FPM o-ring).


 SPECIFIC CONDITIONS OF USE:   YES as shown below:
 
 
- The cable glands Series HSK-K-MZ-Ex are capable of withstanding an impact energy of 4 Joules and shall be applied such that the risk of mechanical danger is low.
 
- The cable glands Series HSK-M-...-Ex and HSK-INOX-...-Ex are tested with a reduced tensile force (25 %) in accordance with clause A.3.1 of IEC 60079-0 and may only be used for fixed installation of Group II apparatus. The user shall ensure adequate clamping of the cable.
