Schedule

EQUIPMENT:
Equipment and systems covered by this certificate are as follows:

The ESP SL15X, ESP SL30X, ESP SL15LX and ESP SL30LX Lightning Barriers are lightning protection devices intended to be connected in-line in intrinsically safe field wiring circuits.  The equipment consists of two printed circuit board assemblies mounted in a plastics enclosure. The equipment is fitted with a DIN rail mounting clip.  External wiring connections are made via terminals that are accessed through apertures in the opposite sides of the narrow edge of the enclosure, four on each side.  The equipment has the following intrinsic safety parameters:
Ci = 0Pi = 1.3 W (-40C<Ta<40C)
Li = 0Pi = 1.2 W (-40C<Ta<60C)
 Pi = 1.2 W (-40C<Ta<60C)

CONDITIONS OF CERTIFICATION: YES as shown below:

1.

The equipment is not capable of passing a 500 V r.m.s. a.c. electric strength test in accordance with Clause 6.3.12 of IEC 60079-11:2006 between its intrinsically safe circuits and its DIN rail clip (which is intended to be earthed). This shall be taken into account when this equipment is being installed.
2.The equipment enclosure shall only be cleaned using a damp cloth.
