EQUIPMENT:
Equipment and systems covered by this certificate are as follows:
 

The Cello 6 V2 Meter Reader is powered from a single Tadiran TL-6930 lithium cell and is primarily designed for connection to a gas meter, gas volume corrector or flow computer.  Communication with the Cello 6 is achieved either locally using an infrared link when in the non-hazardous area or remotely in either the non-hazardous or hazardous areas using the built in GSM communications for connection to the mobile phone network.  The equipment comprises:

 
A partially encapsulated, processor printed circuit board (PCB) that incorporates a GSM Modem Module, a SIM card and connection for a remote antenna
An interface PCB
 
CONDITIONS OF CERTIFICATION: YES as shown below:

Under certain extreme circumstances, the non-metallic parts incorporated in the enclosure of this equipment may generate an ignition-capable level of electrostatic charge. Therefore, particularly when used in zone 0, the equipment shall not be subjected to external conditions that are conducive to the build-up of electrostatic charge on such surfaces. Additionally the equipment shall only be cleaned with a damp cloth.

When the equipment is located in a non-hazardous area, the isolated output ports J5 and J6 permit connection to external unspecified apparatus, which may be intrinsically safe or non-intrinsically safe. They also allow connection to intrinsically safe or simple apparatus when located in the hazardous area
The Cello 6 V2 LPG Meter Reader is similar to the Cello 6 V2 Meter Reader but has an additional board and only one user connection port. Like the Cello 6 V2 Meter Reader, it is powered from a single Tadiran TL-6930 lithium cell, which is its only source of power
The single user connection port of the Cello 6 V2 LPG Meter Reader may only be connected to external equipment with no other source of power. This port has the following safety description:

Issue 1 - this Issue introduced the following change:

1The second edition of IEC 60079-26 was used for assessment, thereby introducing additions to themarking.
Issue 3 - this Issue introduced the following changes:
1The name of the original product was changed from the ‘Cello 6 Meter Reader’ to the ‘Cello 6 V2Meter Reader’, although this model has not been technically modified, the description was amendedfor clarity.

Issue 4 - this Issue introduced the following change:

 This change  does not affect the LPG version.  The marking and product description have been amended accordingly.

1The removal of the zener diodes, from the list of safety components, used for clamping the modem output lines, along with the associated fuses and Siemens TC65 modem option.
2The recognition of a change in the safety descriptions of the LPG version.
