EQUIPMENT:
Equipment and systems covered by this certificate are as follows:
 
The Control and distribution boxes of type Klippon STB … can be equipped in compliance with the thermal conditions in arbitrary combination with approved Ex-components, like plug connectors, rows and terminal blocks and accessories.
The Control and distribution boxes can be used in increased safety in the zones 1 and 2 as well as 21 and 22. If all the electrical circuits are designed for intrinsically safety "ia", using in zone 0 is possible.

The conditions stated in the component approvals have to be observed at installation in the enclosure.
The degree of protection of at least IP 66 according IEC 60529 is only achieved if certified cable entries and stopping plugs are used that are suitable for the application and correctly installed.
The electrical values are limits. The actual possible electrical values are determined by the installed components. The manufacturer determines the final rated values within these limits. So the manufacturer ensures the compliance of the maximum surface temperature and permissible operating temperature of the components.
