EQUIPMENT:
Equipment and systems covered by this certificate are as follows:
 
The Type KFD2-VR2-Ex1.50M Transformer Isolated Voltage Repeater is used to restrict the transfer of energy in the form of a low voltage analogue signal from unspecified non-hazardous area apparatus to intrinsically safe circuits located in a hazardous area. It also provides galvanic isolation between the hazardous area and non-hazardous area circuits.
The Type KFD2-VR2-Ex1.50M Transformer Isolated Voltage Repeater comprises a number of electrical components, including two isolating transformers, fuses, resistors and zener diodes all mounted onto a single printed circuit board (PCB) and housed within a plastic enclosure with plug-in terminals.

1. The external circuit contains no combined lumped inductance Li and capacitance Ci greater than 1% of the above values.
