EQUIPMENT:
Equipment and systems covered by this certificate are as follows:
 

The segment protector, type R-SP-E*** can be used for all fieldbus systems that use the "Manchester Bus Powered" physical layer in accordance with IEC 61158-2. The segment protector is used to connect fieldbus devices to a fieldbus transmission line (trunk).

SPECIFIC CONDITIONS OF USE: YES as shown below:
 

1. The segment protector shall be mounted into an aditional enclosure which meets the requirements according to IEC 60079-0.

2. The segment protector will be connected only be means of certified terminal clamps.

3. The segment protector shall be used in a temperature range of -40 °C up to + 70 °C.

4. The additional enclosure may be opened in a de-energized state only.

5. The instructions for installation in the operating instruction manual shall be considered.
