 | The motors have two types. ED series cosist of Ex d motor body and T/box. EDe series consist of Ex d motor body and Ex e T/box. <ED*160****> The ED type motor(ED*160***) is designed for use in potentially gas explosive atmospheres. It has several electrical ratings in the same frame within the following limits. 5.5kW, 6P, 380V, 50Hz, F Class, Tamb = -20~+50℃ 7.5kW, 2P, 380V, 50Hz, F Class, Tamb = -20~+50℃ 7.5kW, 4P, 380V, 50Hz, F Class, Tamb = -20~+50℃ 7.5kW, 4P, 440V, 60Hz, F Class, Tamb = -20~+50℃(T6) 11kW, 2P, 380V, 50Hz, F Class, Tamb = -20~+50℃ 11kW, 4P, 380V, 50Hz, F Class, Tamb = -20~+50℃ 15kW, 2P, 380V, 50Hz, F Class, Tamb = -20~+50℃ The motors are rated for S1 duty (continuous) and can be supplied with tolerances IEC60034-1(±5%) and IEC60038 (±10%). ENCLOSURE These three phase induction motors aer with squirrel cage and totally enclosed cooling fans. The brackets and frames consist of cast iron (GCD450). The rotors are supported by balls or roller bearings. External fans are attached to the shaft ends to cool the frames. TERMINAL BOX The main terminal boxes are constructed by cast iron (GC150) with a cover using the secured bolts.
