EQUIPMENT:
Equipment and systems covered by this certificate are as follows:
 

The Model 708 Wireless Acoustic Transmitter is a battery-powered device designed to measure vibrations and temperature and to transmit this data, via a wireless network, back to a gateway device. The transmitter contains three printed circuit boards consisting of the feature board, the sensor board and the power module interconnect board all housed within a plastic enclosure. A piezo-electric element is mechanically connected to a stainless steel waveguide fitted to the bottom of the enclosure.

Power is provided by a Model 701PG SmartPower Green Power Module, covered by IECEx BAS 11.0026X. The battery is located in a separate compartment and access is gained by a small threaded cover. This battery may be replaced within the hazardous area.

 
CONDITIONS OF CERTIFICATION: YES as shown below:
 

1.  The plastic enclosure of the Model 708 may constitute a potential electrostatic ignition risk and must not be rubbed or cleaned with a dry cloth.
