EQUIPMENT:
Equipment and systems covered by this certificate are as follows:
 
The 007 Switchbox comprises an aluminium or stainless steel enclosure containing up to two sets of terminal blocks, up four voltage free switches and up to four certified proximity sensors in and combination and interconnection facilities for remote mounted intrinsically safe equipment connections.

The enclosure has an optional low profile version and both versions may include an optional mechanical visual indicator.

External connections to the equipment are made via up to four tapped holes using screw terminals. The equipment can also be fitted with a plug and socket arrangement for external connections.

The installation of the external connections and plugging of unused entries must be carried out using appropriate IP6x certified cable glands and blanking plugs.

DETAILS OF CERTIFICATE CHANGES (for issues 1 and above):
 
Variation 1.1

To permit the fitting of alternative certified proximity sensors in the equipment to form the 007 Switchbox Models SPH020D-IEC, SLP020D-IEC, SLPH020D-IEC, SLP020D-50-IEC and SPLH020D-50-IEC. These models comprise the same enclosure fitted with up to four certified Proximity Sensors fitted.

The Certificate Annex (Issue 1) has been updated to include the new 007 Switchbox model certification details and associated input parameters.

Variation 1.2

To permit the fitting of alternative certified proximity sensors in the previously certified 007 Switchbox Model SP020D-IEC. As a result of this, the ambient temperature range and input parameters of the model were revised.  The Certificate Annex (Issue 1) has been updated with the new parameters for the SP020D-IEC model.

Variation 1.3

To permit minor drawing changes not affecting the original assessment.
