A Type ICF-CHKRWXD11, 400H Frame, 4 Pole, Induction Motor rated at 450kW, 6600V, 60Hz. The motor has a cooling fan attached at the non-drive end protected by a steel cowl, and is fitted with three separate terminal boxes of differing sizes to accommodate the electrical connections to the stator windings, an internal space heater and a series of RTDs to monitor and detect excessive stator winding temperatures.Thermal monitoring of the shaft bearings at each end of the machine is provided by the fitment of separately certified RTD assemblies to IECEx BAS 08.0094X. Cable entry holes are provided as specified on the certified drawings for the accommodation of flameproof cable entry devices, with or without the interposition of a flameproof thread adapter. Unused entries are to be fitted with suitable certified flameproof stopping plugs. The cable entry devices, thread adapters and stopping plugs shall be suitable for the equipment, the cable and the conditions of use and shall be separately certified as Equipment (not a Component). The motor is rated for S1 duty (continuous) when connected to a 3 phase, sinusoidal, 60Hz supply having form and symmetry not worse than that defined in IEC 60034-1.
