Equipment and systems covered by this certificate are as follows

The intrinsically safe 3G mobile phone ADVANTAGE in the variants 1.0 and 1.1 is designed for communications in explosion hazardous areas of zones 1, 2, 21 and 22. It is equipped with camera (only type 1.0), Bluetooth, GPS, PTT, optional lone worker protection, and vibration alert.
The permitted ambient temperature is -20°C to +60°C.
The power supply of the mobile phone consists of a battery pack mounted on the back of the phone. The battery pack contains a Li-ion cell and a current and power-limiting safety circuit. The battery pack is charged, without being removed, via a USB jack in the base unit or charging contacts at the side of the phone.

The mobile phone may only be used with the intrinsically safe battery pack BPA01A made by MOBILE GmbH.
U0 = 3,8 V (U0_max = 4,2V)
I0 = 1,2 A
P0 = 4,56 W


Electrical data, Interface: 
USB interface for charging and data transfer, charging contacts at the sides of the phone.
Connection is only allowed outside ex-hazardous areas and only with the MOBILE PROTECTOR USB-cable or other accessories specified by MOBILE GmbH.


The battery pack may be changed or charged outside ex-hazardous areas only. The test for impact according to EN60079-0 Clause 26.4.2 was done only with low impact energy. The device must be protected from impacts with high impact energy.
The permitted ambient temperature is -20°C to +60°C.
