 EQUIPMENT:
Equipment and systems covered by this certificate are as follows
 
 

Blanking elements available in thread sizes M20 and M25 manufactured  from stainless steel for enclosures in type of protection flameproof enclosures "d" or for use in the presence of combustible dust. 



 SPECIFIC CONDITIONS OF USE:   YES as shown below:
 
 
  • The increase locally and internally to the blanking elements when fitted into an enclosure must be taken into into account in addition to the external air ambient temperature range when assessing whether the ambient range requirement of -40°C to +70°C is met.
  • When fitted to a non-metallic/non-conductive enclosure conformity with clause 7.5 of IEC 60079-0:2011 (Accessible metal parts) must be confirmed.
  • When used in flameproof (Ex d) applications, the wall of the flameproof enclosure into which it is fitted shall be such as to maintain at least 5.34 full threads or 8mm of engagement.
  • Blanking elements must not be used with a thread adaptor.
