Equipment and systems covered by this certificate are as follows
 
 

The system consisting of AR-0010 and AR-0020 is used for communication between a hydrogen fuel station and a vehicle to be gassed up. The AR-0020 (RDI Ring) can be used inside a Zone 1 area whereas the AR-0010 (RDI control, two versions “Standard” or “Barrier”) is an associated apparatus to be installed outside the explosive area.

 

The RDI control is divided into two different versions. One version includes a communication interface (RS485) wheres the other version is not equipped with such an interface.

 SPECIFIC CONDITIONS OF USE:   YES as shown below:
 
 
The RDI-Control Box AR-0010 in the versions “Standard” or “Barrier” shall be installed outside the hazardous area.

It must be ensured that, along the cable way inside and outside the hazardous area, a common equipotential bonding is built between the RDI Control Box AR-0010 “Standard” or “Barriere” and the RDI Ring AR-0020. The GND terminals X3-1 to X3-3 of the RDI Control Box AR-0010 shall be connected to a common potential equalization.
