The equipment is an accelerometer, type: 20015X.
The accelerometers are constructed of stainless steel, and consist of a connector, a piezo-crystal assembly and various non-protective component mounted on a printed board circuit. All models use one metal enclosure to house both the piezo-crystal and the charge amplifier. The X in the type number may be a number from 1 to 9, which denotes a change in the front-end resistance values for filtering purposes.
