As this is a Unit Verification Certificate, no QAR is applicable as this certificate is specific to the items listed by serial number or other unique identification.
The Eddy Current Probes are designed to measure the vibration and position of machines fitted with fluid bearings, pumps, compressors and turbines. The suitably certified Proximitor generates a radio frequency signal that is radiated at the probe end. The voltage induced in the probe end by the eddy currents indicates the vibration and position. The probes consists of a single coil and signal wire enclosed in a threaded stainless steel housing. The type, the shape of the housing and the thread type may vary according to the application. Ui = -28VT Class is dependent on the ambient temperature range as follows:
Temperature Classification
T1
-51ºC to +232ºC
T2
-51ºC to +177ºC
T3
-51ºC to +120ºC
T4
-51ºC to +80ºC
T5
-51ºC to +40ºC
Variation 4.1To confirm that the equipment covered by this certificate has been reviewed against the requirements of IEC 60079-0: 2011 Ed 6 and IEC 60079-15: 2010 Ed 4 in respect of the differences from IEC 60079-0:2004 Ed 4 and IEC 60079-15:2005 Ed 3 and that none of these differences affect this equipment. The equipment is now marked:Ex nA IIC T1…T5 Gc (see schedule)
