EQUIPMENT:
Equipment and systems covered by this certificate are as follows:
 

The OneWireless Adapter OWA 100 is a battery powered wireless transmitter for connection to a wired 4-20 mA Hart interface.

Ambient temperature range -40 ºC to +85 ºC (Ex nA and Ex tc) or -40 ºC to +70 ºC (Ex ia and Ex tb).

Electrical data

Supply: (D size) Lithium battery, type 5930 manufactured by Tadiran, type XL-205F manufactured by Xeno Energy or type PT-2300H manufactured by Eagle Picher.

Supply / input circuit:
in type of protection intrinsic safety Ex ia IIB or Ex ia IIIC, only for connection to a certified intrinsically safe circuit, with the following maximum values:
Ui = 30 V; Ii = 225 mA; Pi = 720 mW; Ci = 1.27 nF; Li = 0 µH.
Or
in type of protection Ex tb, Ex nA or Ex tc:
Umax = 42 V DC, Imax = 30 mA, Pmax = 1.2 W.

 
CONDITIONS OF CERTIFICATION: YES as shown below:
 

Because the enclosure of the OneWireless Adapter OWA 100 is made of non-conductive material, if it is mounted in an area where the use of equipment of EPL Ga is required, precautions have to be taken to avoid static charges.
If the OneWireless Adapter OWA 100 is used in an environment where the use of equipment of protection level Da, Db, Dc or Gc is required the risk of mechanical danger shall be low.
