Transformer is intended for use in underground mines and is assembled from empty enclosure in type of protection flameproof enclosure from manufacturer Bartec Varnost d.o.o. type TSV-3 with component certificate SIQ 11 ATEX 171U and two enclosures in type of protection increased safety from manufacturer Bartec Varnost d.o.o. types PV-3 or PV-2 with component certificate OBAC 06 ATEX 454U, one mounted on the top of the flameproof enclosure and one on the bottom of the flameproof enclosure.In the TSV-3 enclosure cover switch type VN 32-XF-X-XX-X, main transformer type KDV/4, supply transformer type ET1-T, equipment for control of isolation of output circuit from manufacturer Bartec Polska Sp. z o.o. type ER100im with component certificate OBAC 06 ATEX 059U, isolating amplifier1 for remote switching on or off of the transformer from manufacturer Schuhmann GmbH & Co. KG type TSV3-Ex-R with certificate TÜV 07 ATEX 553613 and protection equipment are mounted.Passage of conductors out of flameproof enclosure is provided with line bushings type TOS5 25 A from manufacturer Bartec Varnost d.o.o. with component certificate PTB 04 ATEX 1099 U and with multicore line bushings type 07-91**-****/**** from manufacturer Bartec GmbH with component certificate PTB 97 ATEX 1047 U.
In the enclosures types PV-3 or PV-2 connection terminals from manufacturer WAGO Kontakttechnik GmbH with component certificate PTB 00 ATEX 3110 U, switch module from manufacturer CEAG Sicherheitstechnik GmbH with component certificate PTB 97 ATEX 1081 U and light modules from manufacturer R. STAHL Schaltgeräte GmbH with component certificate PTB 01 ATEX 1160 U are mounted. For cable entries cable glands from manufacturer El.-Ap. Elektro-Apparate Gothe & Co. GmbH with certificate IBExU01ATEX1013 X are mounted in the walls of enclosures.

- Repair on flameproof joints may only be performed in accordance with the manufacturer's design specifications. Repair on the basis of the values in tables 1 and 2 of IEC 60079-1:2007 is not accepted.
- Before opening of the flameproof enclosure transformer has to be switched off with remote control.
- If the unit for remote control is installed in the hazardous area this unit has to be explosion protected.
- If isolating amplifier from manufacturer Hans Turck GmbH & Co. KG type MS13-22EX0-R with certificate DMT 01 ATEX E 119 is used, allowed ambient temperature is from -20°C to +34°C, which has to be stated on the nameplate of the equipment.
