EQUIPMENT:
Equipment and systems covered by this certificate are as follows:
 

The Model 5081 Series of Transmitters comprises 4 types:

·          5081A/P Amperometric/pH Transmitter  (HART, Fieldbus and FISCO versions) is designed to measure the amount of Chlorine, Dissolved Oxygen or Ozone in, or pH or ORP of, a liquid in conjunction with an appropriate sensor.
·          5081-C Contacting Conductivity Transmitter (HART, Fieldbus and FISCO versions) is designed to measure the conductivity or resistivity of a liquid in conjunction with an appropriate sensor.
·          5081-G-HT/FF-73 Oxygen Gas Transmitter is designed to measure the net concentration of oxygen in an industrial process e.g. in flue gas, in conjunction with a zirconium probe.
·          5081-T Toroidal Conductivity Transmitter (HART, Fieldbus and FISCO versions) is designed to measure conductivity of a variety of process liquids.

The Model 5081 Series Transmitter’s circuitry is contained on three different circuit boards for the –HT versions or four different circuit boards for the –FF/FI Fieldbus variants.
The PCBs, together with the optional LCD display and the terminals for external connections are mounted in a rugged enclosure manufactured in epoxy-coated aluminium or stainless steel.

CONDITIONS OF CERTIFICATION: YES as shown below:
 
1. The Model 5081 enclosure may be made of aluminium alloy and given a protective polyurethane paint finish; however, care should be taken to protect it from impact or abrasion if located in a zone 0.
