The FPS-COM-PLUS VA R-C is a portable battery powered voice amplifier unit with the ability to attach an intrinsically safe radio.
The equipment consist of four printed circuit boards (PCBs):

Intrinsic safety is assured by limitation of voltage, current and power, limitation of capacitance and inductance and infallible segregation and use of specified batteries.
The enclosure is made of a moulded plastic casing. The casing includes a hinged lid which provide access to the battery compartment.
The enclosure provides a degree of protection of at least IP20.
The battery compartment provides a degree of protection of at least IP6X
The FPS-COM-PLUS VA R-C maybe powered by either two Duracell Plus MN2400 or Duracell Procell MN2400 1.5 V AAA alkaline-manganese cells.
The FPS-COM-PLUS VA R-C maybe connected to an intrinsically safe radio compatible with the following input parameters:
