EQUIPMENT:
Equipment and systems covered by this certificate are as follows:
 

The HL-XD(280) motor is designed for use in potentially gas explosive atmospheres.  It has several electrical ratings in the same frame. The HL-XD(280) motor consists of a motor housing and a terminal box. The motor housing consists of a frame and an endshield. The motor housing and the terminal box are made of cast iron. The motor may be supplied with flange for horizontal or vertical mounting with or without foot. The external fan is conductive polypropylene.

 
CONDITIONS OF CERTIFICATION: YES as shown below:
 

- Maximum constructional gap (ic) is less than that required by Table 1 of IEC 60079-1 standard.
- Value of yield stress of fastener(SCM435) is min. grade 12.9 steel.

DETAILS OF CERTIFICATE CHANGES (for issues 1 and above):
 
The three-phase induction electric motor of the HL-XD(280) Series has several electrical ratings in same frame. The frame, terminal box and other parts are same as HL-XD(280) Series, but only changed electrical ratings of motor.
This report supplements the electrical ratings in same frame(280 Fr) as follows:
HL-XD(280) 132.0 kW, 4 P, 415 V, 224.3 A, 50 Hz, F Class, S1 ,Tamb = -20 ºC ~ +55 ºC
