EQUIPMENT:
Equipment and systems covered by this certificate are as follows:

The BPG range of Control Stations comprise of polyester enclosures that are fitted with an arrangement of IECEx certified ammeters, switches, signal lamps and terminals.  All enclosures are fitted with gaskets of substantially round cross section, closed cell polychloroprene or closed cell silicone rubber.  The enclosure lid can be populated with switch operators, lamp bezels or 4mm thick glass windows as specified on the associated certification drawings.  Tapped or clearance hole entries may be provided through the side walls or the rear of the box.  When unused the entries will be blanked off with IECEx metal blanking plugs and sealing washers or O-rings suitable for the ingress protection provided by the enclosure.

See Annex for the range, power dissipation and permitted components

CONDITIONS OF CERTIFICATION: YES as shown below:

1.

The enclosure is non-conducting and may generate an ignition-capable level of electrostatic charges under certain extreme conditions.  The user should ensure that the equipment is not installed in a location where it may be subjected to external conditions (such as high-pressure steam), which might cause a build-up of electrostatic charges on non-conducting surfaces.  Additionally, cleaning of the equipment should be done only with a damp cloth.
