All enclosures are manufactured by Pepperl+Fuchs. The enclosure sizes are shown in the Annexe.

The enclosures may be fitted with an arrangement of IECEx certified ammeters, voltmeters, switch modules, signal lamps, signal lamps with contacts, operator heads, potentiometers, terminals, optical fibre splice tray and inspection windows. The permitted devices are detailed in the certificate Annexe.

The Annexe also contains Changes incorporated at Issues 2 and 3 as well as the Conditions of Manufacture.

SPECIFIC CONDITIONS OF USE:   YES as shown below:

1.‘Control Stations and Local Control Units’ fitted with a type 8007 Inspection window shall only be cleaned with a damp cloth to prevent the risk of electrostatic discharge.
2.Repair of the flameproof joints of any internally fitted ‘DIS.*.*.* Series Explosion-Proof Disconnect Switches’ must be made in compliance with the structural specification provided by the manufacturer. Repairs must not be made on the basis of values specified in tables 1 and 2 of IEC 60079-1.
3.Repair of the flameproof joint of the CFP.* Series Explosion-Proof Push Button & Switch Modules must be made in compliance with the structural specification provided by the manufacturer. Repairs must not be made on the basis of values specified in tables 1 and 2 of IEC 60079-1.
4.Any connected optical bundles must be supported within the equipment to prevent strain on the individual fibres as they enter the component.
5.The user/installer shall install the range of Control Stations taking into account any restrictions or special conditions for safe use that are applicable to the previously certified devices that are fitted in the boxes.
