EQUIPMENT:
Equipment and systems covered by this certificate are as follows:

The PM205 Potential Monitor is a 19 Inch 2U rack panel unit used to provide continuous monitoring of wellhead potentials and RF induction. The PM205 Monitor is intended to be installed in a non-hazardous area and provides a two-wire input/output connection to a local and remote earth point. The two-wire connection is considered to be associated apparatus with level of protection [Ex ic] IIC, due to the earth point connections being within a potentially hazardous area Zone 2.

There are five versions of the PM205 with three distinct differences. One version (Types B, C and E) contains an integral battery pack used for memory back-up, the other version (Type D) utilises a DC/DC power supply (externally powered) in place of the battery pack and the final version (Type A) has no DC/DC supply or battery pack fitted. The ‘Type D’ version of the PM205 in addition to the DC/DC power supply has an additional 2-pin connector and fuse holder fitted to the rear side of the panel. The other versions of the PM205 unit have minor cosmetic differences listed below:

Type ANo Batteries, No DC/DC supply, with a Black case
Type BBatteries, No DC/DC supply, with a Black Case
Type CBatteries, No DC/DC supply, with a Silver case
Type DDC/DC supply, No batteries, with a Black case
Type ESame as Type B, except different coloured handles
