Instead of the asterisks in the complete name letters and/or numerals will be inserted
characterising different variations, which have no influence on the explosion protection of the apparatus.
The Isolation Amplifier serves for the transmission of switching commands from the non-hazardous area to the hazardous area. The Isolation Amplifier is an associated apparatus and has to be mounted outside the hazardous area. Its pcb is mounted in a plastic box; which has terminals for the connection of the intrinsic safe and the non-intrinsic safe circuits in the head part of the box.
