Equipment and systems covered by this certificate are as follows

The type LCP enclosure units use a common moulded base and a range of moulded flat and extension covers; these are made from ‘Menzolit’ type Freemix 43-2101 plastic. The covers may accept a range of devices such as switch actuators (push button and rotary); alternatively, they are available with instrument viewing windows or can be supplied as a junction box cover. The covers are secured to the base using equi‑spaced M6 x 16 mm counter bored long hexagonal socket cap head screws. Up to four, M20 x 1.5 or M25 x 1.5 cable entries, one per side, are provided to accommodate suitably certified cable entry devices and stopping plugs.  The cable entry holes can also be used in conjunction with through bushes assessed as part of this certification when the LCP type enclosures are to be close coupled
