Submersible Pump series 3000 Models are a three phase induction motor intended for connection to pumping equipment for liquids and slurries.
Maximum depth of immersion of the motor/pump is 20 m.
The motor/pump can be operated at full load at leased half the pumphousing is submerged or according to the installation drawing. Normally closed thermal detectors fitted to each of the stator windings, and connected to the motor control circuit, disconnect supply to the motor when their temperature reaches [125 ± 6] ºC or [140 ± 6] ºC according ambient temperature and gas group application.
Connection of external circuit conductors is by means of crimp connectors located in the drive-end of the stator housing. Sealing of the cable entry is by means of an integral cable gland.
The different models are defined in the descriptive documents RS6010AE rev. 2.
- The thermal detectors fitted to the stator windings shall be connected into the motor control circuit in such a manner to disconnect the supply to the motor in order to prevent the Temperature Class T4 or T3 or 150°C (group I).
- The yield stress of the fastener elements of the casing must be in accordance with indications mentioned in instruction manual.
