This certificate is issued as verification that a sample(s), representative of production, was assessed and tested and found to comply with the IEC Standard list below and that the manufacturer's quality system, relating to the Ex products covered by this certificate, was assessed and found to comply with the IECEx Quality system requirements. This certificate is granted subject to the conditions as set out in IECEx Scheme Rules, IECEx 02 and Operational Documents as amended.

STANDARDS:
The electrical apparatus and any acceptable variations to it specified in the schedule of this certificate and the identified documents, was found to comply with the following standards:

IEC 60079-0 : 2011
Edition: 6.0
Explosive atmospheres - Part 0: General requirements
IEC 60079-11 : 2011
Edition: 6.0
Explosive atmospheres - Part 11: Equipment protection by intrinsic safety "i"

This Certificate does not indicate compliance with electrical safety and performance requirements other than those expressly included in the Standards listed above.

Schedule

EQUIPMENT:
Equipment and systems covered by this certificate are as follows:

The Delta F Oxygen Cell is designed to provide an output voltage proportional to the oxygen level present in local atmosphere. An optional temperature sensor provides an output current proportional to the absolute temperature.

The oxygen sensor comprises two "stab-el" electrodes and two sensor electrodes all housed in a plastic and metallic enclosure. External connections are made via terminals fitted in the wall of the sensor. The optional temperature sensor is mounted in a recess in the enclosure. External connections are made via a short fixed cable and a flying connector.

Oxygen Channel Terminal Parameters
Ui = 23V
Ii  = 75mA
Pi = 450mW
Ci = 0
Li = 0

Temperature Channel Terminal Parameters
Ui = 23V
Ii  = 15mA
Pi = 90mW
Ci = 0
Li
= 0

CONDITIONS OF CERTIFICATION: YES as shown below:

1. The apparatus is to be installed such that the apparatus terminals are protected to at least the requirements of IP20.
2. The sensor must not be used to measure oxygen concentrations greater than 21%
3. To minimise the risk from electrostatic discharge the plastic body should only be cleaned with a damp cloth.
4. The gas connectors are electrically isolated and when considered in parallel they have a capacitance of 10pF. This must be taken into account when mounting the equipment.
