EQUIPMENT:
Equipment and systems covered by this certificate are as follows:
 
Description
 
The operator station is designed for visualisation and input of parameters in hazardous areas.
The operator station consists of a metallic enclosure with a glass front and two terminal enclosures at the back side for the connection of the external circuits.
The electronic components are fixed in the metallic enclosure and surrounded by filling material (type of protection Ex q). The operator station has input and output circuits non-intrinsically safe and intrinsically safe, level of protection Ex ib. The circuits to the touch screen are intrinsically safe, level of protection Ex ib.
Inside the terminal box type of protection Ex e an encapsulated fuse type RM5/PC4-1ATL, level of protection Ex mb, is fastened.
