EQUIPMENT:
Equipment and systems covered by this certificate are as follows:
 

Power Control Unit Type 9410 is used to distribute supply voltage to Power Rail Type 9400 on which it is mounted.
The Control Unit is connected to an external power supply and optionally to a back-up power supply.
The Control Unit detects errors from the modules mounted on the rail and provides a collective status alarm via a potential free contact.

Ambient temperature range -20 oC to +60 oC.

Electrical data

Power Supply (terminals 31, 32): U = 21.6 ... 26.6 Vdc.
Backup Power Supply (terminals 33, 34): U = 21.6 ... 26.6 Vdc.
Power Rail (rear contacts): U = 21.6 ... 26.6 Vdc (with transient suppression to 40 V).
Relay contacts (terminals 11, 12, 13): Umax = 30 Vdc or 32 Vac, Imax = 2 A.

If the control Unit is installed outside the hazardous area, the following data for the relay contacts apply:
Umax = 30 Vdc or 250 Vac, Imax = 2 A

 
CONDITIONS OF CERTIFICATION: YES as shown below:
 
If the Control Unit is installed in zone 2, it shall be installed in an enclosure, in conformity with type of protection Ex n or Ex e, providing a degree of protection of at least IP54.
