The converter type KFD0-TR-Ex1.*** is used as associated apparatus for the transmission of electrical signals from the hazardous area to the non-hazardous area. It is carried out as a module with a modular case and is destined to be assembled to 35 mm standard rails according to DIN EN 50022.

Instead of the sign "***" of the model code other letters- or numeral- combinations can be stated optionally which are  descibing several variations (e.g. software versions) without having influence on the certificate.

 

The maximum permissible temperature is 60 °C.
