 Manufacturing location(s):

This certificate is issued as verification that a sample(s), representative of production, was assessed and tested and found to comply with the IEC Standard list below and that the manufacturer's quality system, relating to the Ex products covered by this certificate, was assessed and found to comply with the IECEx Quality system requirements. This certificate is granted subject to the conditions as set out in IECEx Scheme Rules, IECEx 02 and Operational Documents as amended.

STANDARDS:
The electrical apparatus and any acceptable variations to it specified in the schedule of this certificate and the identified documents, was found to comply with the following standards:

IEC 60079-0 : 2004
Edition: 4.0
Electrical apparatus for explosive gas atmospheres - Part 0: General requirements
IEC 60079-11 : 2006
Edition: 5
Explosive atmospheres - Part 11: Equipment protection by intrinsic safety "i"
IEC 60079-26 : 2006
Edition: 2
Explosive atmospheres - Part 26: Equipment with equipment protection level (EPL) Ga

This Certificate does not indicate compliance with electrical safety and performance requirements other than those expressly included in the Standards listed above.

EQUIPMENT:
Equipment and systems covered by this certificate are as follows:

The Accelerometers Type 780A-IS, 786A-IS, 786F-IS, 786T-IS, 787A-IS, 787A-M8-IS, CMSS780A-IS, CMSS786A-IS, CMSS786F-IS, CMSS786T-IS, CMSS787A-IS and CMSS787A-M8-IS are used for vibration monitoring.
The sensor converts mechanical forces (e.g. vibrations) of the equipment to which it is mounted into an electrical signal and converts this into a modulated voltage output signal.
The accelerometers, types 786T-IS and CMSS786T-IS also measure the temperature of the equipment and convert this into a modulated voltage output signal.

Ambient temperature range -50 °C to +120 °C.

Supply and output circuit (power/signal and common):
in type of protection intrinsic safety Ex ia IIC, only for connection to a certified intrinsically safe circuit, with the following maximum values:
Ui = 28 V; Ii = 93 mA; Pi = 650 mW; Ci = See table below; Li = 0 mH.

For models 786T-IS and CMSS786T-IS:Supply and output circuits (power/signal, temperature sense and common):
in type of protection intrinsic safety Ex ia IIC, only for connection to a certified intrinsically safe circuit, with the following maximum values:
Ui = 28 V; Ii = 93 mA; Pi = 650 mW; Ci = See table below; Li = 0 mH.

780A-IS, 786A-IS, 787A-IS, 787A-M8-IS, CMSS780A-IS, CMSS786A-IS, CMSS787A-IS and CMSS787A-M8-IS786F-IS and CMSS786F-IS 786T-IS and CMSS786T-IS

CONDITIONS OF CERTIFICATION: YES as shown below:

For applications in explosive atmospheres caused by gases, vapours or mists and where the use of apparatus with equipment protection level (EPL) Ga is required, electrostatic charges on the cable and non-metallic parts of the enclosure shall be avoided. The ambient temperature range for these applications is -40 °C to +80 °C.
