The G-TECTA SG2 is a portable gas detector designed to monitor the concentration of a single gas which may be oxygen (deficiency) or a toxic gas (carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulphide, sulphur dioxide, ammonia or chlorine) and provide visual and audible warnings if preset limits are exceeded.It comprises an electronic circuit on a printed circuit board, a display, various LED indicators, a sounder and a non-replaceable battery, all contained in a plastic enclosure providing a degree of protection of at least IP20.Marking of the Gas Detector is in accordance with EN60079-0:2009.The gas detector is not designed for use in atmospheres containing greater than 21% Oxygen.The battery is not replaceable and the instrument is not repairable.
